Frances Hope is a Canadian-born singer-songwriter, alternative pop artist, and poet based in Bristol, UK. Blending the emotional storytelling of Joni Mitchell with the atmospheric edge of Lana Del Rey and the cinematic intensity of Florence + the Machine, her music explores vulnerability, healing, and mental health with raw honesty.
Frances has performed internationally at venues and festivals including the Dragon Boat Festival, Cameron Bandshell, Hermann’s Jazz Club, Le Baiser Salé, and The Hard Swallow in New York City. She was selected for the City of Victoria 2024/25 Musicians Roster, and her music has received radio play across Canada, the US, and the UK on stations including CFUV and CKUA.
Alongside performing, Frances teaches virtual songwriting classes for youth and adults navigating trauma, using music as a tool for healing and self-expression.
