Frances hope

singer-songwriter/indie-folk artist

Frances Hope is a singer-songwriter/musician who originally hails from Edmonton, AB, Canada, until she relocated to the west coast to chase her musical dreams. For the past three years, she has enjoyed surrounding herself with her fellow musicians and artists, and has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of songwriting and performance.

As a child, she was fortunate enough to grow up in a family of musicians and artists that helped cultivate her love and appreciation for music in all its forms. Her influences have ranged from KD Lang, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Don Mclean, and Gordon Lightfoot, to the Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Brandi Carlile, and jazz and country artists, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Patsy Kline, and the incomparable Johnny Cash.

She continues to live each day with an unbreakable connection to music and melody, and is enjoying developing her sound and genre more and more with each passing day. She loves telling her story through the forays of love, heartbreak, and the beautiful messes of life. She has spent the last year pouring herself into the creation of her first EP record and cannot wait to share her labours of her soul with you.

Her EP album will be available very soon, so sign up for her mailing list to keep in touch and hear immediately about any shows, events or music that is coming up!

Thanks!
